Writing to heal grief after a spinal cord injury

This study tests whether writing about your deepest emotions about your spinal cord injury can help you work through feelings of grief. You will write a few times over several weeks, and the study will see if it helps you feel better.

Who can take part

  • You have a spinal cord injury (from any cause like accident or illness) that makes your arms or legs weak.
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have internet access and a device that can do video calls.
  • You can communicate in English well enough to complete surveys and understand the program.
  • You are not currently in regular therapy or counseling for emotional issues, and have not been for the past 6 months.
