Who can take part

  • You must have acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that is in remission (no visible cancer cells) or, if not in remission, must meet specific high-risk criteria like certain genetic changes.
  • If you've had a previous stem cell transplant, you may still qualify under certain conditions.
  • You must be 40 years old or younger.
  • You need to have adequate organ function (liver, kidneys, heart, lungs).
  • You must have a related donor who is a half-match (haploidentical) and meets health requirements.
  • You must not have active graft-versus-host disease or other uncontrolled illnesses.
  • You must agree to use contraception if applicable, and not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
