Who can take part
- You have stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has not been treated yet and is either locally advanced (cannot be removed by surgery) or has spread to other parts of the body.
- Your tumor must have a specific protein called Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2) and must not have the HER2 protein. Your PD-L1 level must be low (CPS less than 5).
- You must be at least 18 years old and no older than 75, and in good enough health to carry out daily activities with little or no help (ECOG 0-1).
- You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
- You cannot have had chemotherapy, radiation, or major surgery in the last 4 weeks, and you must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
