  • You are a woman who has not gone through menopause yet.
  • You are between 18 and 55 years old.
  • You have a higher-than-average risk of breast cancer, confirmed by a doctor or risk calculator.
  • You have not had breast cancer that spread (invasive breast cancer).
  • You are willing to use birth control during the study.
  • You can have mammograms or breast exams as part of the study.
  • You have not taken tamoxifen or similar medications within the last 5 years, except for a short time.
  • You have not had blood clots, certain cancers, or a double mastectomy.
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the next 2 years.
