Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have been diagnosed with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that cannot be removed with surgery.
- Your tumor has a HER2 change (mutation, extra copies, or protein overexpression).
- You have not had any prior treatment for advanced disease, or you have only had one specific type of targeted pill (a third-generation EGFR TKI) and your doctor says you may still benefit.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
- You are in good physical condition (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- You do not have symptomatic brain or spinal cord spread, serious heart problems, or a history of lung inflammation needing steroids.
