Who can take part

  • Your child is between 2 and just under 6 years old.
  • Your child has been diagnosed with asthma or severe wheezing that is not controlled with their current inhaler, which they have been using for at least 3 months.
  • Your child has at least one of the following: doctor-diagnosed eczema, a known allergy to something in the air (like pollen or dust mites), wheezing when not sick, high eosinophils (a type of white blood cell) on a blood test, or a known food allergy to milk, egg, or peanut.
  • Your child weighs more than about 11 pounds and less than about 66 pounds.
  • Your child has not needed daily oral steroids for asthma for more than 1 month at a time.
  • Your child was not born before 34 weeks of pregnancy.
  • Your child does not have another chronic lung disease like cystic fibrosis.
