This trial tests a new type of immunotherapy called CAR T cells that are trained to find and attack cancer cells with a specific marker (GPC3). The CAR T cells are also 'armored' with extra proteins (IL-15 and IL-21) to help them work better. It might be an option for adults with advanced solid tumors, especially liver cancer, that have not responded to standard treatments.

Who can take part

  • Your tumor must have a protein called GPC3 at a moderate to high level (grade 2 or higher), confirmed by a biopsy.
  • You must be 21 years old or older.
  • You need to have a performance status score of 60% or higher (meaning you can do most daily activities with some help).
  • If you have liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), your liver function score (Child-Pugh) must be less than 7 and your cancer stage must be A, B, or C.
  • Your cancer must have continued to grow or come back after at least one standard treatment and one stronger treatment (salvage therapy).
  • You cannot have had an organ transplant, HIV, an active infection (except hepatitis B or C), or be pregnant or breastfeeding.
