Who can take part

  • You have a degenerative spine problem or slippage of the spine bones that requires surgery to fuse one or two spinal levels.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You can understand and sign a consent form, and attend follow-up visits for at least a year.
  • You do not have bone diseases like Paget's disease, brittle bone disease, or other metabolic bone conditions.
  • You are not pregnant, do not have active cancer, an active spine infection, or a metal allergy.
  • You are not obese, do not abuse alcohol or drugs, and are not taking medications that affect bone healing.
