Who can take part

  • You are between 22 and 60 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with severe opioid addiction for at least 2 years.
  • You can have an MRI and lie still for 2-3 hours (no metal implants, pacemakers, or claustrophobia).
  • You have not had a stroke, brain surgery, or a serious brain condition (like epilepsy or a tumor).
  • You do not have schizophrenia or a psychotic disorder.
  • You are willing to try to stop using illegal drugs during the study.
