Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You were diagnosed with type 1 diabetes within the last year.
  • You have at least one diabetes-related antibody in your blood (GAD, IA-2, or ZnT8).
  • Your body still produces some insulin (C-peptide level above 200 pmol/L).
  • You cannot have serious heart, liver, kidney, or blood disorders, or active infections.
