Testing a new drug to preserve insulin production in type 1 diabetes

Who can take part

  • You must be between 15 and 40 years old (or 5 to 40 for part B) and weigh at least 16 kg.
  • You must have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes within the last 100 days.
  • You must test positive for at least one diabetes-related autoantibody (GAD65, IA-2, ZnT8, or insulin).
  • You must not have certain medical conditions like active infections, liver problems, blood count abnormalities, or recent use of immune-altering drugs.
  • Women must not be pregnant or breastfeeding and must use contraception if applicable.
  • You must be willing to follow the study schedule and avoid other experimental treatments.
