Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy (a condition where the heart is enlarged and pumps less effectively).
  • You have tested positive for a virus called Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) in your blood.
  • You are not allergic to sirolimus (rapamycin) or similar drugs.
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant and are not taking part in another drug trial within the last 3 months.
