Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (a condition that causes pauses in breathing during sleep).
  • Your sleep study shows that you have more than 15 breathing pauses per hour of sleep (this is a moderate to severe level).
  • You are able to keep a daily log of when you urinate (use the bathroom).
  • You are not currently taking any water pills (diuretics) for fluid buildup.
  • You do not have cancer, and you are not pregnant.
