Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have severe to profound hearing loss in both ears (with word understanding at 70% or less even with hearing aids).
  • You are able to understand the study information and give written consent in French.
  • You are covered by French social security.
  • You do not have certain types of hearing loss with poor outlook (like auditory neuropathy, recent meningitis, or a tumor).
