Who can take part

  • Your blood test shows homocysteine levels above 15 µmol/L.
  • Your LDL cholesterol is at least 1.4 mmol/L.
  • You haven't taken any medications or supplements that affect homocysteine for at least 1 month.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You don't have a severe illness that would require constant monitoring (expected survival less than 1 year).
