Drain and clot-dissolving medicine for severe aneurysm bleeding

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • This must be your first time having a bleeding stroke from a brain aneurysm.
  • You have not had brain surgery (craniotomy) before this event.
  • Your aneurysm was treated (coiled or clipped) within 48 hours of the bleeding.
  • Your doctors will assess your consciousness level (Hunt-Hess grade III, IV, or V) and bleeding severity.
  • You cannot be pregnant or allergic to the study drug (urokinase).
