Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have had type 2 diabetes for at least 3 years.
  • Your kidney function (eGFR) is between 45 and 90 ml/min, which is a mild to moderate decline.
  • You have not taken any SGLT2 inhibitor (like canagliflozin, dapagliflozin, empagliflozin) before.
  • You are not pregnant or planning pregnancy in the next 3 years, and you agree to use effective birth control if needed.
