Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older and have a confirmed diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
  • You cannot have had any prior systemic (whole-body) treatment for advanced HCC.
  • Your liver function must be well enough (Child-Pugh class A) and you should be able to perform daily activities with little or no help (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • You must have at least one measurable tumor that hasn't been treated with local therapy, or that has grown after local treatment.
  • You need adequate organ function as shown by blood tests (e.g., good kidney function, adequate blood cell counts).
