Testing microbiota therapy for resistant bacteria in the gut

Who can take part

  • You (or your legal representative) must be able to understand and sign a consent form.
  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a stool or rectal swab that shows you carry a difficult-to-treat bacteria (like CRE, VRE, ESBL, or MDR Pseudomonas).
  • You must be willing to stop antibiotics, probiotics, and other similar treatments 1 day before starting the study medicine and not restart until after day 28.
  • Women who could become pregnant and men must agree to use effective birth control during the study, and women must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
