This trial tests whether using a blood test (ctDNA) to guide targeted therapy after surgery can improve outcomes for patients with stage II-IIIA non-small cell lung cancer that has an EGFR mutation. If you qualify, you may receive a targeted pill (osimertinib) based on your ctDNA results.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with stage II, IIIA, or stage IIIA (N1-N2) non-small cell lung cancer.
  • Your cancer has a specific EGFR mutation (19del or 21L858R).
  • You are able to have surgery to completely remove the tumor (R0 resection).
  • You have good overall health (ECOG score 0-1) and adequate blood counts and organ function.
