Who can take part

  • You have a type of lung cancer called squamous cell carcinoma that can be removed with surgery (stage II to IIIB).
  • Your lung cancer has an EGFR mutation (a specific genetic change).
  • A PET-CT scan shows the cancer has not spread to other parts of your body.
  • You are in good overall health (ECOG score 0-1) and at least 18 years old.
  • Your blood counts and liver/kidney function are within certain limits, and you are not pregnant or nursing.
