Who can take part

  • You must have active Graves' disease (confirmed by a recent blood test showing low TSH, high free T4, and positive TRAb antibodies within the last month)
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must either: not have started any thyroid medication yet, have been on it for less than 4 weeks, or have finished a previous course of treatment at least 4 weeks ago
  • You cannot be pregnant
  • You cannot have had radioactive iodine therapy before
