  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You must have been recently diagnosed with Graves' disease or be having a relapse.
  • You cannot have active bulging eyes from Graves' disease (exophthalmos).
  • You cannot have other autoimmune diseases that affect your thyroid.
  • You cannot have cancer or other serious illnesses.
