Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 18 to 70.
- Your breast cancer is HER2-positive (a protein that helps cancer grow).
- Your tumor is at least 2 centimeters (about the size of a grape) and can be seen on ultrasound.
- Your cancer is stage 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, or 3C (has not spread to distant parts of the body).
- You have not had chemotherapy for this breast cancer before.
- If you could become pregnant, you agree to use a reliable birth control method and take a hormone-blocking medication (Zoladex) for two years.
