Who can take part

  • You had a lacunar stroke (a small stroke deep in the brain).
  • You have high blood pressure or diabetes (newly diagnosed or known).
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You can do a sit-to-stand exercise, or you have a caregiver who can provide consent for you.
  • You do not have other serious health problems that are not well controlled (like heart failure).
