Testing C1-inhibitor for brain bleed after aneurysm

Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed brain bleed from a burst aneurysm, seen on a CT scan.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your condition is rated WFNS grade 1 to 5 (which covers all severity levels from mild to severe).
  • You are not in another experimental treatment study.
  • You are not expected to die within 24 hours of arriving at the hospital.
  • You are not pregnant, and you have no known blood clotting disorder, allergy to blood products or C1-inhibitor, or hereditary complement deficiency.
