Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and have had a stroke on one side of the brain.
- Your wrist and finger muscles are stiff (score >1 on a standard measure of muscle tightness).
- Your health is stable, and you are awake and able to follow simple instructions.
- You have not had more than one stroke, a brain injury, or a brain tumor.
- You have no other conditions like Parkinson's or spinal cord injury affecting muscle tone, and no cancer, bleeding problems, infection, or pacemaker.
