Who can take part

  • Your blood urea level must be above 120.
  • You must have high potassium (over 5.5) or very low carbon dioxide (under 15), or need urgent dialysis due to poisoning.
  • You need to be on dialysis.
  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You cannot be on continuous dialysis (CRRT).
