Who can take part

  • You had spinal fusion surgery that used rods to connect the upper back down to the sacrum or pelvis.
  • Your surgery was done between January 2014 and December 2020.
  • You are 45 years old or older.
  • The surgery was an initial or a revision (redo) procedure with at least one extra rod beyond the two main rods.
  • You do not have Parkinson's disease, a muscle or nerve disorder, or cancer that requires chemotherapy or radiation.
