- You have a herniated disc or bone spur in your neck that is pressing on a nerve or spinal cord, causing arm pain, neck pain, or nerve problems

- You do not have osteoporosis, osteopenia, or other bone weakening conditions
- You are not pregnant, do not have an active infection, and are not morbidly obese
