Who can take part
- You have a diagnosis of functional tremor, essential tremor, or you are a healthy person without tremor.
- Your tremor is present during a doctor's exam (either all the time or on and off).
- You do not have any condition that makes EEG (brain wave recording) unsafe, like skin infections or wounds on the scalp.
- You do not have epilepsy triggered by flashing lights (reflex epilepsy).
- You have not had brain or head surgery, and you do not have a pacemaker or deep brain stimulator.
- You do not have a serious medical illness or a neck condition causing chronic pain.
