Studying choroid plexus function in brain diseases

Plexus ChoroideusMetabolic Syndrome

Part of Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.

This study looks at how a part of the brain called the choroid plexus works in people with different brain conditions. It may help find better ways to diagnose or treat these diseases.

NCT04925349Recruiting
Study blood immune patterns in several rare brain diseases

This study looks at immune cells in blood to better understand rare brain conditions caused by genetic changes. It may help researchers understand why symptoms happen and how the immune system is involved.

Myelin brain disorder research biobank for samples and data

This study collects brain-related medical information and biological samples to help researchers better understand leukodystrophies and other white-matter brain disorders. It may help future diagnosis and treatments by building a valuable “biobank” of patient data and samples.

Studying immune brain and nerve conditions with tests and samples

This study looks at how immune-related brain or spinal cord illness shows up using exams, MRI scans, and sometimes a spinal fluid test (lumbar puncture), plus collected blood and other samples. It may help researchers better understand these conditions and improve future diagnosis or treatments.

Study of genetic brain diseases

This study follows people with a confirmed genetic nerve or brain disease over time, collecting blood and sometimes spinal fluid samples to learn more about the condition. It may help researchers understand how the disease progresses.

Genetics study for PSP, CBS, MSA, and related conditions

This study looks at genetic factors in people with PSP, CBS, MSA, or similar brain conditions, and also in their family members. It involves genetic testing to learn more about these diseases and may help find new treatments.
