Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 84 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with one of these specific brain diseases: bvFTD, semantic variant PPA, non-fluent variant PPA, PSP, CBS, or early-stage ALS—or you are a healthy family member of someone with a genetic form of these diseases
  • You do not have a history of other neurological or psychiatric disorders (such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, or depression)
  • You have not had a significant head injury or history of serious alcohol or drug use
  • You do not have a family history of other neurodegenerative diseases
  • If you are a healthy participant, you must be between 20 and 30 years old, or matched in age and sex to an enrolled patient
