Who can take part

  • You must be age 21 or older
  • You have symptoms that suggest a neurodegenerative or related disorder
  • Your symptoms must not be fully explained by another cause (like stroke, brain injury, or encephalitis)
  • You must be able to safely get an MRI (no unsafe metal in the body and you can tolerate the scan)
  • You cannot be pregnant, recently postpartum, or breastfeeding
  • You should not have certain genetic conditions that raise cancer risk (like Cowden or Lynch syndrome)
