Who can take part

  • You had surgery between September 2007 and December 2015 for spinal stenosis and degenerative spondylolisthesis.
  • Your surgery involved removing bone or tissue to create space (decompression), with or without also fusing bones together.
  • You did not have surgery on the same part of your spine before.
  • Your surgery did not involve reaching the spine from the front of your body.
  • You had surgery on 2 or fewer levels of your spine.
  • Your surgery did not involve removing the back part of the spine bone (standard laminectomy) unless it was done with special magnifying tools.
