Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old and have been newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
  • Your myeloma has high-risk features, such as specific genetic changes, advanced stage, or soft tissue tumors.
  • You have measurable disease, meaning a certain level of M-protein in your blood or urine.
  • You have not had prior treatment for multiple myeloma, except for up to 2 cycles of a common combination therapy (bortezomib, lenalidomide, dexamethasone).
  • Your overall health is fairly good (ECOG score 0-2) and your organ function, like kidney and liver, is within acceptable ranges.
  • You are willing to use effective contraception if you are of childbearing age.
