  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have a catheter that measures pressure inside your skull (intracranial pressure monitor) or a tube that drains fluid from around your brain (external ventricular drain).
  • You can be included in the study as soon as the device is placed — there is no waiting period.
  • Brain death is not suspected or confirmed.
