Who can take part

  • You are female and at least 18 years old.
  • Your breast cancer is HER2-negative (a certain protein tested low or absent).
  • You have brain metastases that are new or have grown after previous treatment.
  • Your general health is good enough to be up and about for at least half the day (performance status 0–2).
  • You can swallow pills and your major organs (heart, liver, kidneys) are working fairly well.
