Xuesaitong for heart disease risk factors

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have stable coronary artery disease for at least 3 months (for example, you had a heart attack, had a stent placed, or have chest pain with evidence of blockage).
  • Your blood test shows a high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) level of 2 mg/L or higher.
  • You are currently taking a moderate or strong statin (a cholesterol-lowering drug).
  • You are currently taking an antiplatelet medication (like aspirin or clopidogrel).
  • You have not had a recent heart attack, stroke, heart failure with low pumping function, or certain other serious conditions.
