Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with coronary heart disease and are currently hospitalized.
  • You are between 40 and 80 years old.
  • Your heart function is impaired (NYHA class II to IV), meaning you may feel short of breath or tired with normal activity.
  • Your NT-proBNP level is above 125 pg/mL (or BNP above 35 pg/mL), a blood test that shows heart strain.
  • A diagnosis of chest obstruction with qi deficiency and blood stasis according to traditional Chinese medicine.
  • You are willing to take the study medication and attend follow-up visits.
