Strength training for people waiting for a heart transplant
Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.
This study tests whether resistance training (strength exercises) can help people waiting for a heart transplant. It is for patients who have been on the transplant list for less than a month and are stable enough to exercise safely.

This study uses a treadmill or stationary bike test to measure how well your heart and lungs work after a heart transplant. It may help researchers see whether this type of testing is safe and useful in transplant follow-up.
This study looks for blood and other markers that can explain how people with heart failure respond to exercise training. It may help researchers better tailor exercise or treatment plans for heart failure in the future.
This study tests whether a supervised exercise program can help people with advanced heart failure who are already on intravenous heart medications. It aims to see if physical training can improve their strength and daily function.
This trial tests whether a special breathing and muscle-strengthening exercise program can help people waiting for a heart transplant. It is designed to improve your respiratory strength and overall conditioning before surgery.
