Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is over 25, meaning you are considered overweight or obese.
  • You have a high score on a food craving questionnaire (above 2.37).
  • You are not currently using or have not used prescription weight-loss medications in the past 6 months.
  • You have not lost more than 10% of your body weight in the last 6 months.
  • You do not smoke or use nicotine, and you do not have a current neurological or psychiatric condition, type 2 diabetes, or any reason you cannot have an MRI (like metal implants).
