This study tests a treatment called intrathecal pemetrexed, which is chemotherapy given directly into the fluid around your brain and spine. It's for people with a specific type of lung cancer that has spread to the lining of the brain or spinal cord after targeted therapy stopped working.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to the lining of your brain or spinal cord (leptomeningeal metastasis).
  • Your cancer has stopped responding to a targeted therapy pill (TKI), and you have a specific gene change like EGFR, ALK, ROS1, RET, BRAF, NTRK, or KRAS.
  • You are able to walk and care for yourself (ECOG performance status 0–2), and your doctor expects you to live at least 3 more months.
  • You have not had chemotherapy injected into your spinal fluid before.
  • Your kidneys, liver, and bone marrow are working well enough.
