Who can take part

  • You have high blood pressure that stays high (daytime average ≥135/85) even with at least two different blood pressure pills.
  • You are scheduled to have an angiogram of your kidney arteries.
  • The angiogram shows a kidney artery with 50%–90% narrowing, and the artery is at least 4 mm wide.
  • You have not had a stroke, mini-stroke, or major neck artery blockage recently.
  • Your kidney is at least 8 cm long and you have not had a stent or surgery on the kidney artery before.
