Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that cannot be removed by surgery.
- You have already received both immunotherapy (an anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 drug like nivolumab) and platinum-based chemotherapy, and your cancer got worse within 6 months of starting immunotherapy.
- Your cancer does not have certain gene changes (EGFR, ALK, ROS1, MET, HER2, RET, or BRAF V600E) that would allow a different targeted treatment.
- You are generally well enough to be up and about (ECOG 0 or 1), meaning you can take care of yourself and are not confined to bed.
- You have no serious heart problems, recent stroke, severe lung inflammation, or current use of high-dose steroids or other medications that could interfere with the study.
- Your blood and organ functions (kidney, liver) are within safe ranges based on tests done within 3 days before starting the study drug.
