Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You had a stroke in the back part of the brain (posterior circulation).
- You had a procedure to remove a clot from a brain artery (mechanical thrombectomy).
- You do not have a stroke in the front part of the brain (anterior circulation).
- You do not have bleeding in the brain (intracranial hemorrhage).
- You do not have significant narrowing or blockage of the large neck arteries (extracranial large vessel atherosclerosis).
