- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a chordoma tumor in the skull base, spine, or sacrum.
- Your doctor plans to use radiation (proton or SBRT) before surgery, and then remove the tumor with surgery.
- You are generally healthy enough to have treatments (performance score of 40 or more on a scale of 0–100).
- You have not had radiation to the same area of the spine before.
- If you could become pregnant, you agree to use birth control during the study and for 12 weeks after.
