Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have full spine X-rays, a CT scan, and an MRI of your lower back.
  • Your spine is out of balance (for example, your head is shifted forward more than 2 inches, your pelvis is tilted back, or the curve in your lower back is too flat).
  • You have not had any previous spine surgery.
  • You do not have other health problems that affect walking, like Parkinson's disease, severe arthritis, spine infection, brittle bones, or cancer.
  • Your spine deformity was not caused by an injury, and you do not have scoliosis that started in your teenage years or in your lower back.
