Who can take part

  • Your baby is under 12 months old.
  • Your baby has been diagnosed with NEHI (a rare lung condition) using a specific score (Liptzin score) and a CT scan, or a lung biopsy.
  • Your baby needs extra oxygen, either when awake or asleep.
  • Your baby is being followed at a hospital that is part of the RespiRare network.
  • Your baby has not received methylprednisolone (a steroid) through an IV before.
  • Your baby does not have diabetes or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
