A new way to plan neck surgery using MRI measurements

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with spinal cord compression in the neck (cervical spondylotic myelopathy) by two spine surgeons.
  • Your MRI shows narrowing or damage in at least two levels of your neck spine.
  • You are scheduled for or have had a type of surgery called laminoplasty (LAMP) for this condition.
  • You have MRI and other test results available before and after surgery.
